A CLOSER LOOK
Maguelone du Fou
Based in sunny Provence, Maguelone is an artist who gives light and color star billing in her creations. She likes to work with traditional techniques, including watercolor, inks, pastels, and gouache, to create a joyfully hued world within which a luxury of detail breathes life and originality.
Everyday life inspires her, and as she observes the simplicity of the mundane, the luxuriance of gardens, the intricacy of the colors of the sky, her unique eye composes her palette. After graduating from Estienne school in Paris, Maguelone spent a few years working in agencies as well as a freelance graphic designer before launching her illustration career.
Represented by Pekelo Agency in France and Garance Illustration Agency in the United States, Maguelone regularly collaborates on projects in editorial, publishing, branding, and communication.
She is also a member of Collectif Patates, a community of artists united by shared values of generosity and kindness.
